This is an example of the indeterminate form 0\/0. To evaluate this limit, we can use L&#8217;H\u00f4pital&#8217;s rule, which states that if the limit of the derivative of the numerator divided by the derivative of the denominator exists, then it is equal to the limit of the original expression. Taking the derivatives, we get <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>$ \\displaystyle \\lim_{x \\to 0} \\frac {sin x}{x} =  \\displaystyle \\lim_{x \\to 0}  (cos(x)\/1) = cos(0)\/1 = 1$<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2.$\\displaystyle \\lim_{x \\to \\infty} \\frac {x^2 + 3x}{2x^2 -5x}$<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As x approaches infinity, both the numerator and denominator grow without bound, resulting in the indeterminate form $\\frac {\\infty}{\\infty}$.
