{"id":8410,"date":"2025-01-12T21:55:03","date_gmt":"2025-01-12T16:25:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/physicscatalyst.com\/article\/?p=8410"},"modified":"2025-01-12T21:55:09","modified_gmt":"2025-01-12T16:25:09","slug":"viteee-informationeligibility-and-exam-dates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/physicscatalyst.com\/article\/viteee-informationeligibility-and-exam-dates\/","title":{"rendered":"VITEEE 2025 Information, Eligibility And Exam dates"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Highlights of VITEEE 2025<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>VITEEE 2025&nbsp; is the VIT University engineering entrance exam for students seeking admission to the first year engineering programme in Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>VITEEE is a computer based exam which is conducted yearly to seek admission to Vellore Institute of Technology for its Vellore, Chennai ,AP and Bhopal Campus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>VIT university offers 20 Undergraduate, 34 Postgraduate, 4 Integrated &amp; 4 Research programmes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There are nearly 5,000 B.Tech seats for which around two lakh candidates register and appear every year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility Criterion<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>(1) Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 2003 are eligible to apply for VITEEE-2025. The date of birth as recorded in the High School \/ SSC \/ X Certificate will be considered authentic<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(2) Candidates appearing for the VITEEE in 2025 should have secured minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics\/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2\/Intermediate).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(3) The average marks obtained in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology (PCM \/ PCB) in +2 (or its equivalent) put together should be 50% for the SC\/ST &amp; North Eastern State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(4) Candidates who have studied in Regular, Full Time and Formal Education are alone eligible to apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(5)Candidates who have opted for MPCEA(Maths \/ Physics\/ Chemistry \/ English \/ Aptitude)in VITEEE 2025 are eligible for all the B.Tech. Programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(6)Candidates who have opted for BPCEA(Biology \/ Physics\/ Chemistry \/ English \/ Aptitude)in VITEEE 2025 are eligible for the following Bio stream programmes only. But after joining, registering Mathematics as bridge course is mandatory. B.Tech. Bio-engineering(VIT-Bhopal) B.Tech. Biotechnology(VIT, Vellore) B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Bioinformatics(VIT, Vellore) B.Tech. Maths or Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English.
