  • area of triangle =1/2 base*height

so x+y=-7 0.5(-7*-7) =24.5 units

In 15 question option d is correct.
Option a is wrong because the graph of every linear equation in two variables is a line.
Option b is wrong because the point (0,7) doesn’t satisfy the linear equation x + 2y = 7. Is we’ll substitute the value in this equation then the answer will be 14. Therefore, LHS ≠ RHS.
Option c is wrong because the point (0,
3) doesn’t satisfy the linear equation 3x + 4y = 11. If we’ll substitute the value in this equation then the answer will be 12. Therefore, LHS ≠ RHS.
Hence option D is correct.
