CBSE has relaxed the passing criteria for Class 10 Board

CBSE has relaxed the passing criteria for Class 10 Board for the year 2018. As per the notice, students need to obtains 33% overall in  both internal assessment and board examination to pass the subject.  This is one time measure for this year students only as they were coming from different assessment background while they were in class IX.

Before this , students has to obtain 33% in each internal and examination marks to pass the subject.With this decision, it becomes little easy for the students.

How it works out

Support students obtains 16/20 in internal assessment, then he just need to get 33-16=17 marks in the Board examination.

Before this he has to separately obtain 6.6/20 and 26.4/80 each to pass the subject
